Post and parcels

Two routes for sending and collecting things in Torre del Mar.

The post office

Correos, the Spanish post office, is on Paseo de Larios. This is the official route for letters, registered post and the burofax, which is the document you will be told to send when something needs legal proof of delivery. That last one matters more than it sounds: several administrative and rental disputes here are resolved by burofax.

Parcel points

Most private courier parcels are delivered to shops acting as pickup points or to lockers, not to an office. The notification from the courier tells you which one, and the shop-based points usually open longer hours than the post office, which closes at midday.

On the ratings

You will notice the post office scores far below the parcel point. That is not particular to this town: post offices score low across Spain, because people tend to review after a queue or a failed delivery. For a registered letter it is still the place to go.
