No other trade in Torre del Mar rates as consistently high. Read it with the usual caution: a practice with a dozen opinions and one with over a hundred are not making the same claim, and in therapy the fit with the person matters more than any published score.

Check the professional title

To practise therapy in Spain the regulated qualification is psicólogo general sanitario, or a clinical psychology specialism, and every practitioner is registered with their regional professional body with a membership number. It is a normal question to ask, and any serious practice answers it without hesitation.

Public and private are different routes

Mental health care through the Andalusian public system is reached via your GP at the health centre, and waiting times are long for anything that is not urgent. Everything on this page is private practice, paid directly or through health insurance. Some policies cover a set number of sessions, so it is worth checking yours before paying out of pocket.

Ask about language before booking

Therapy in your own language is not a detail, it is most of the work. Some practices here work in English, some do not. Ask directly when you make the appointment rather than finding out in the room.
