The town club is Unión Deportiva Torre del Mar, founded in 1971, one of the historic clubs of the Axarquía. It plays in Tercera Federación and its home ground is the Juan Manuel Azuaga stadium, next to the shopping centre on the road towards Vélez-Málaga.
