What to do
Events
Five dates carry the year in Torre del Mar. Two are the town's own, two fill it with visitors, and one belongs to spring.
- Holy Week, in March or April depending on the liturgical calendar. The processions through the centre. This one belongs to the town.
- The music festival on the western beach, over a long weekend in July.
- The feria, from 22 to 27 July, for Santiago and Santa Ana. Day fair and night fair, and the maritime procession of the Virgin of Carmen, patron of the fishermen.
- The air show, a weekend in early September, over the beach and the promenade. It is the single biggest crowd of the year.
- The Oktoberfest, a weekend in mid October on the Avenida Toré Toré.
Dates move, and this matters
These are recurring events and only the feria has fixed dates. The rest are set each year by the council or the organisers, usually a few months ahead. We keep each event on the same address year after year and update it rather than creating a new page, so a link you saved will still be right.
If you are booking around one
Accommodation in the town sells out for the air show weekend and for the feria. If you want to be here for either, book early; if you would rather avoid the crowds, those are the two weekends to avoid.
