Heladeria Neptuno

Neptuno is the seafront option, on the Poniente promenade with the beach in front of it. It is built for the cone you eat while walking rather than the table where you sit down, and that is the honest description of most ice cream on this coast.

Alongside the artisan ice cream it does granizados, the crushed iced drink that southern Spain leans on through July and August. Lemon is the default and the one I would order. When the temperature passes thirty five degrees it does more for you than any ice cream.

It works with the beach season, so outside the summer months check before making the walk. Its position on the Poniente side means you can pick it up on the way back from the lighthouse end and finish it before you reach the centre.
