Why I would take a flat over a hotel room here
Because of the kitchen and the timetable. Spanish lunch runs from two, dinner from nine, and with small children that rhythm is hard to hold for a fortnight. A flat with a kitchen lets you keep your own hours and eat out when it suits, and in this town the market and two supermarkets are within walking distance. Book early for August and ask which floor and which side, because the sea view and the inner rooms are a different stay.
