Fried fish
A freiduría fries fish and sells it to take away, wrapped in paper. Torre del Mar has two, and one of them is an institution with more than 2,000 public reviews, one of the highest counts in the town's whole restaurant scene.
What to order
The repertoire of this coast: boquerón victoriano, the local anchovy, squid, baby squid and marinated dogfish. Anyone ordering something else is missing what these places do best.

The freiduría works far more on takeaway than on tables, and that is how the fish is at its best, straight out of the pan and eaten within minutes.
