Worth knowing. What arrives at your door comes from a restaurant with an open dining room, not from a delivery-only unit. The ones that work hardest at it are the pizzerias, the Asian restaurants, the burger places and the kebab shops.

Two practical notes

In August and at weekends, allow more time. The same kitchen is serving its dining room and the delivery orders, and delivery is the first thing to suffer.
Confirm the delivery area before ordering. Not every place covers the whole town, and the far ends of the promenade least of all.
