Like every bank listed here it has no public rating in this directory, and I would not read anything into that: branch offices of national banks collect complaints about queues rather than judgements about a service.

Why a town with branches is worth more than it sounds

Spain has closed thousands of bank branches in the last decade, and in the villages of the Axarquía behind this coast there are places where the nearest counter is a drive away and the only cash point is a van that visits once a week.

Torre del Mar still has seven banks within a few hundred metres of each other. If you are choosing between living here and in one of the white villages inland, that is one of the practical differences nobody mentions in the brochures, along with the health centre and the pharmacy rota. A town of twenty thousand people keeps services that a village of six hundred has lost.
