Library

The municipal library, José Ramos Cabello, is on Avenida Duque de Ahumada. It offers lending, a study room, press and reading activities, and it is the most searched public facility in the whole town.

Three things worth knowing

• The card works across the whole of Andalusia. One membership of the regional public library network lets you borrow here and in any Andalusian municipality.
• The study room fills in exam season. In May and June, go early if you want a seat.
• Hours are reduced in summer, like most municipal facilities, so check before going.

For anyone settling here, the library is also one of the easiest places to meet the town outside a commercial setting, and the reading activities are free.
