Streets of Torre del Mar

Torre del Mar is small and its commerce is not spread evenly. Six streets carry almost all of it, and each one has a character of its own. Knowing which is which is the difference between finding what you need in ten minutes and walking the town twice.

The short version

  • Avenida de Andalucía is the spine. Banks, supermarkets, services and the largest concentration of anything in the town.
  • Calle del Mar is the shopping street. Fashion, perfume, hairdressers and cake shops, pedestrian and walkable end to end in minutes.
  • Paseo de Larios is the promenade that runs down to the sea. Restaurants and terraces, and where the town walks in the evening.
  • Calle Princesa is the professional street. Lawyers, estate agents and offices, with shops mixed in.
  • Avenida Antonio Toré Toré runs east along the seafront. Restaurants and ice cream, and a summer street more than a winter one.
  • Calle Pintor Cipriano Maldonado is the trades street, where the kitchen studios and interior fitters are.

Everything here is walkable

The whole grid is flat and the longest of these walks is around fifteen minutes. There is no reason to move the car between them, and parking in the centre is the harder half of any errand.

How these pages are built

Each street page counts the businesses whose verified address falls on it and shows the split by trade. The figures come from the directory itself, not from an impression.
