Best electricians

The leader holds a 4.6 across 170 opinions, by far the deepest record in the trade, and second place is a perfect score on a much smaller base. The table is showing you a busy established firm against a smaller one that has not put a foot wrong yet.
The word to know is boletín
Certain electrical work in Spain does not just need doing, it needs certifying. The boletín, the installation certificate issued by a registered installer, is what the electricity company asks for to contract or increase supply, and what you will be asked for when the property is sold or rented out. If you are rewiring, changing the consumer unit or increasing power, ask at the quote stage whether the boletín is included.
Two local realities
- Older flats here were not wired for air conditioning. Adding units to a building from the seventies often means the supply and the consumer unit need looking at first.
- Salt air is hard on outdoor fittings. Anything on a terrace facing the sea ages faster than the manufacturer expected.
Emergencies
Ask each firm whether it covers out of hours and what the call out costs before you need it. In a small trade, knowing which number works at nine on a Sunday evening is worth more than a tenth of a point in the ranking.
